ABOUT LEA
LEA English Centre Malaysia was formed in 2006 in Knightsbridge, London. We used to be known as The London English Academy but was more popularly recognized and identified by our abbreviation, LEA. In the journey to be the best English language learning centre in Malaysia and in the world, we strive for continuous improvement in the quality of English language education and the related educational services we offer. We always adhere to our corporate values of “Fun Learning, Quality Education and Personal Coaching”
Back to our early beginnings of offering English language learning programmes to a small number of students in an office of 3,000 sq.ft., LEA English Centre has since come a long way to realizing the dreams of being an institute of international quality and standards; developing holistic approach on how to learn English in the most effective way for people of various background and education level. Along our fruitful journey, we upgraded our centre to a space of 12,000 sq.ft. with over 200 international students from South Korea, Sudan, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Syria, Mongolia, and others.
Now we have a total of 40,000 square feet office space with 2 branches and has emerged as one of the biggest English learning centres in Malaysia. We would like to thank all LEA students, staffs, partners and stakeholders who join hand with us in walking down this humongous journey.
Since our inception, we have leveraged on our expertise and knowledge to guide us on as we continue to grow and expand the list of top educational programmes we provide to people of various races, age groups, educational background, nationalities and mother tongues. In LEA English Centre, we pay close attention to each student to really see what sparks enthusiasm, evokes awe, sharpens focus, builds on interests, and challenges abilities. That’s the best way to advance learning. It is our core belief that the ability to speak English is essential for success in the modern world and that everyone has the ability to learn to speak English, when taught in the right way.
Through The Fun Learning Method we give students the advantage of a broad understanding of the language that through interactive classroom activities.
Our courses are focussed on developing our students’ reading, writing, listening and speaking skills at the same time so that they can truly master English. Through our commitment to hiring and training the best teachers, our dedication to developing and refining the most modern and effective courses available and our principle of working with smaller groups of students in a social environment.
LEA provides personal coaching for students. Professional teachers partner with students in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential in English language to achieve their goals. The goal of personal coaching is to increase achievement by helping students find their inner strengths and passions in order to nurture self-worth and identity and have a voice in their own language learning and negotiate collectively with the instructor to create the goals and objectives
Our instructors also motivates the students to passionately engage in talking content to increase memory retention and fuel motivation to learn, use their inner talents to bring their work to the highest level. The personal coaching strategies, which have been used successfully in some of the most diverse classrooms in LEA can help to empower students by allowing them ownership of their work. It also helps the students to overcome emotional and environmental roadblocks in acquiring English language. The result? A harmonious, unified and happy team of individuals who remember why they do what they do, and love it completely.
Choose from the general and specialist English language courses at the Quality English school. LEA has been providing quality English Education for the past 14 years locally and also internationally. Students come here from Asia and Middle East, with some also coming from South Africa and the Europe. Our teachers come from Malaysia, English, Canada, New Zealand and also Australia, so you will hear a variety of different accents to prepare you for using English around the world.
